Product Description

It is used frequently in Thai dishes and it can also be made into the most fantastic juice and to make Lemongrass tea, lemongrass is a natural antiseptic and is great for digestion.
Our Lemongrass is freshly picked and prepared to your order, then shipped fresh to you, to bring you the very best quality & shelf life.

- Volume: 200g.
- Quantity (unit): around 4-5 stalks.
- Origin: Thailand.
- Shelf-life: 5-7 days.
Storage:
- Lemon grass can be stored in the freezer and keeps well.
- It will keep for up to a month in the freezer if wrapped well.
- Keep it in the fridge for up to 7 days from delivery.
- It will preserve longer if place in a glass of fresh water in the fridge.
Disclaimer:
- Just remember than only the bottom 3-4 inches of the lemongrass is actually edible.
- The remainder should either be discarded, or used to make stock.
- Make sure you thaw it out well before using, after it has come out of the freezer.
How to use:
- Until the stalk has been crushed, the fragrance of lemongrass is actually quite mild.
- You can even chop and pound it before storing it in your freezer.
- This lemony smell is distinctive in a lot of South East Asian cooking.
- To use fresh lemongrass, peel away and discard the outer fibrous layer before using.
- If you are to eat it raw, make sure the outer layers of the bulb are peeled until the pink ring inside appears.
